
What is animal chiropractic?
Animal Chiropractic
understands the relationship of the spine and nervous system
to proper function and over all well-being of small and large
animals. The application of this art has many avenues and often utilizes a small amplitude,
high velocity thrust to areas of spinal subluxation in order
to facilitate proper function of the nervous system resulting
in enhanced performance and quality of life.
Who practices animal chiropractic?
Qualified Doctors of Chiropractic or Veterinary Medicine can practice Animal
Chiropractic in accordance with the standards set forth by
their respective provincial or state licensing boards. (Others may claim to practice AC. Please check their qualifications
What are our Admission Requirements?
North American
Applicants must have graduated from a Veterinary
School of Medicine accredited by the Council on Education
of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) or from
a Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) accredited
Chiropractic School and hold current licenses from their respective
provinces or states. License and Diploma documentation must
accompany the application. International Applicants must provide
Visa or Passport information, Diploma and proper governmental
licensure for the country in which the applicant is currently
practicing. In all cases, two character references and two
passport size photos are required. Chiropractors must also
investigate and provide in writing an understanding of their
provincial/state regulations set forth by the veterinary and
chiropractic licensing boards of their jurisdiction.
What are the details of this program?
The program
is conducted in the Brantford area of the Province of Ontario.
Each program consists of five 5 day modules. Each Module
begins on a Wednesday morning and ends on the following Sunday

Are current students in Veterinary or Chiropractic schools
eligible for this program?
We are currently offering a minimum of openings to veterinary chiropractic students who are in the fall year of study.
Does this program qualify for continuing education credits?
Doctors who are members of the AVCA are eligible to attend individual modules for CE credits towards AVCA membership renewal. Beyond this, eligibility for CE credits can only be determined by the respective Provincial or State licensing body or jurisdiction.
